Mountain Pass
Hikers will be delighted to learn that the lift plant consortia of South Tyrol’s Alta Badia and Val Gardena have teamed up to produce a mountain pass to facilitate travel around the region between 22 June and 21 September 2008.

The pass allows unlimited usage of 11 mountain lifts and local bus transport between the villages of Alta Badia and Val Gardena (also Val Pusteria, Valle Isarco). The pass also brings further discounts, such as between 20 and 50 per cent off guided tours organised by the Alta Badia tourist board. Three to four day passes start at €30 per adult, €21 per child under 15 and €26 per adult over 60. There are seven and 14-day passes as well as a summer seasonal pass (which excludes the Sella Ronda).
