The return of the sun

A tour with relatively little ascent however large differences in altitude in the descent and long hours of walking.

Beautiful hike along the base of the Sassolungo to the Alpe di Siusi, Europe's largest plateau (60 km²). The steep rocky walls, in sharp contrast with the extensive meadows in bloom, are a real pleasure for nature lovers.

Start at Kreuzberg and follow the road that leads through the forest, then the path through the woods past Holzstege to Alpe Nemes - continue on past Almmatten, cross the Padola stream and go on to Coltrondoalm - return through the woods ...
