Sextner Almen circular route

Start at Kreuzberg and follow the road that leads through the forest, then the path through the woods past Holzstege to Alpe Nemes - continue on past Almmatten, cross the Padola stream and go on to Coltrondoalm - return through the woods and meadows back to Kreuzberg.

Things of interest along the route: Large variety of vegetation. In early summer you'll find gentians and lush alpine rose blossom, whilst midsummer yields morning dew and various orchids. Look out for horses cows on the pastures and take in the astonishing view of the Sextner Dolomites.
