Interested in trying a different style of dining out? South Tyrol offers dinners in unusual ambiences, in cable cars or on a mountain railway.
Val Gardena Sky Dinner: don’t make plans for the 9th and 16th July, but rather look forward to a romantic 5-course dinner in the most scenic surroundings imaginable, served in a gondola of the Alpe di Siusi/Seiser Alm cable car. Each gondola can accommodate from 2 to 6 persons.
Dinner on the quaint Renon/Ritten narrow-gauge railway: the olde-worlde wooden carriages are 100 years old. The entire train will be transformed into a moving restaurant on 4 summer evenings. A different course will be served at each of the 5 stops along this railway on a mountain plateau above Bolzano straddling the 1,200 metre line, all accompanied by fine wine and live music. Dates: 1st July, 6th and 28th August.
Gourmet evening on the Croda Rossa/Rotwand: to celebrate the summer solstice. Book a table for 26th June in a gondola of the Croda Rossa/ Rotwand cable car at Sesto/Sexten. Look forward to a stunning sunset and an enchanting evening.
