A perfect trip on Alpe di Siusi
Alps of Siusi - Seiser Alpe
Alpe di Siusi is Europes larges alpine pasture with 50 ha at a level of 1800 to 2500 meter.
Many hiking tours start from the Compatsch at Alpe di Siusi and lead to Sassopiatto, Federico Augusto path, Denti di Terrarossa or the famous Mount Sciliar.
Our scenic tour over Seiser Alpe takes us to the Gostner Schwaige at the trail number 3 and follow to the Tschapit Alpe at the bottom of Denti di Terrarossa.
From hear we can reach the Tschapit Hut or Spitzbühl Hut or return to Compatsch again.
The most beautiful trail descends from Tschapit Hut to Seis. The so called "Geological Trail" or "Prossliner Trail" is a geological path that shows the building of the Dolomites, passes wonderful waterfalls and rivers and brings you directly to the village of Seis / Siusi.
