My name is Dora Somvi, specialised in herbal science and medicine, as well as in the cultivation of aromatic herbs. I will introduce you to the world of etheric oils:
- to learn about and recognise the different aromas, especially the local ones
- the meaning of fragrances and their effects
- tips and recipes for treatments in different sectors, such as home fragrances, baths, massages, sauna infusions, etc.
- guided preparation of a beneficial balm for inner and outer beauty
Furthermore I suggest the following treatments:
Organic herbal sauna with local pine oil
Alongside the traditional sauna and turkish bath, our guests can also enjoy an organic herbal sauna. Various scents procured from the local area, such as pine from Latsch, are used. A liberating experience which will open up the respiratory canals and lungs and get circulation going well again. The pine oil is also used for massages, baths and facial treatments that we offer. For all round peace, relaxation and recuperation.
Hay bath with locally-reaped and dampened hay
Relax and feel good in this warm bath of hay from the surrounding mountain pastures of our region, grown and dried in the fresh alpine air and with clear rays of sun. Warmth enwraps and flows through the body as the warm hay begins to take its effect. Our guests stay in the hay bath, wrapped in towels, in total relaxation, for 25 minutes.
Herbal spa full-body massage with local herbs
Local herbs in little linen cushions are warmed up in order to allow the aromas to penetrate out fully. The cushions are gently pressed onto the skin and used for massaging. The scent of the herbs arouses our senses and carry us off for a full 60 minutes into another world. This treatment offers gentle stroking of the skin, relaxation of our mind and soul and a natural treat for the body.
