Dolomiti Superski
The most renowned area for skiing is the Dolomiti Super ski, which combines
12 ski resorts set among the world’s highest coral reef, in the
UNESCO world heritage site of the Dolomite mountains. Dolomiti Superski is the world's
largest interconnected skiing area - on the same lift pass you have access to 12 different skiing areas – including a range of black runs for serious enthusiasts and above all the
Sella Ronda, a 16-mile tour leading around the dramatic Sella Massif peak.

Ortler Ski Arena
In the west of the region, grouped around the highest peak of the
Southern Limestone Alps, Mount Ortles at 3,905 m (12,812 ft), are the
15 skiing areas of the Ortler Ski Arena, which range from smaller to large-scale resorts which bring together over 300 km (185 miles) of pure fun. In fact, the Ortler Ski Arena runs all the way
from an old-fashioned family ski resort to the heights of the Senales glacier at 3,200 m (10.500 ft) where one can ski year round. The motto of the smaller family ski resorts is
‘Slow snow’, featuring well-prepared slopes but no queues at the lifts, while the glacier at Senales is fully equipped for serious ski enthusiasts. Skiers, snowboarders, telemark skiers and freeriders alike will find runs and snow parks suited to all levels of experience.
