• Return of the sheep to Vernagt on Saturday, 14 September: Every year, shepherds travel from the Senales valley in mid-June with their sheep over the Niederjoch to the summer pastures near Vent in the Ötztal valley and return in September. We welcome the sheep on their return to the Tisental and drive them back into the valley. You will experience the ancient tradition first-hand and learn interesting facts about this unique spectacle.
