How we approach sustainability
Energy efficiency and energy optimisation are our top priorities when building. We also attach great importance to the conscious choice of materials, with upcycling also playing a vital role.
All nearby excursion and hiking destinations are easily accessible by bus. The localities are well connected, timetables are optimised and - thanks to the Guest Pass - travel is even free!
Our creative cuisine uses food holistically so that hardly any organic waste is produced. We also ferment seemingly useless items, e.g. peelings or cuttings, to turn them for example into tasty seasonings!
Our menu planning is dynamic and flexible: instead of a rigid scheme, we prefer to follow nature and take delivery of fresh and seasonal produce from our local partners.
Electricity comes out of the sockets, of course, but strictly speaking it mostly comes from our own photovoltaic system, with the rest from green South Tyrolean hydropower.
By expanding our integrated system, we recover the waste heat from cooling systems and put it to good use.

This Hotel is to be recommended because of the wonderful location with stunning view over the Dolomites mountains and because of the kindness of the staff and owners. The rooms are spacious and accurately cleaned. gvale65
