How we approach sustainability
We make extensive use of wood from local forests for building.

There are charging stations directly at the hotel so guests can charge their e-cars in a convenient and easy way.
We use no plastic bottles or straws in our hotel, so we don't have to worry about disposing of them. All other waste is of course carefully separated and sent for recycling. Except for vegetable waste - to the delight of our pigs!
We buy seasonal produce, where possible in large quantities and large packaging units - as far as possible from smaller, local producers.
Our heating is digitally controlled so it can be switched it off at the touch of a button, if for example a room is empty.
The local district heating plant burns locally sourced woodchips: we are among others users of the heat produced.
