Nature at its finest: our philosophy

Our community Ratschings is a member of the “Alpine Pearls” and has thus committed itself to soft mobility, environmental protection and soft tourism. We have also taken this into consideration in our renovation plans. The basic question underlying our conversion plans was: Where do we live? We live in one of the most beautiful landscapes in Central Europe and our hotel is surrounded by an intact and relaxing natural landscape.

We have therefore decided to become a hiking and nature hotel. We want to bring nature experiences closer to our guests in all areas of our hotel in order to sharpen their perception of our natural beauty. Stress and tension are left behind, they find peace, relaxation and recreation. In our hotel, guests consciously take time for themselves and we actively support them in doing so. Our hotel's own alpine pasture, our wonderful hiking area and the unique quiet location in nature provide the setting for relaxation in the mountains. The small medieval town of Sterzing, only seven kilometres away, offers cultural variety and entertainment.

Not only our guests, but also we attach great importance to the protection and preservation of the nature surrounding us, to which we feel very attached. For this reason, the renovation was carried out with natural materials from South Tyrol. This peculiarity and the familiar ambience are the reason why guests feel at home at our hotel.
