From the Bergleracker – small steps, big impact
Sometimes change begins quietly – with a handful of soil, a few seeds, and a shared idea. That’s how it started at the Bergleracker in Tiers am Rosengarten, a small but meaningful community project created by several local businesses, including the Alpinhotel Vajolet.
No big slogans here – just people working together. On a lovingly tended plot of land, fresh vegetables grow for the nearby kitchens, following the “km 0” philosophy: fresh, regional, and honest. It’s not about quantity but awareness – about knowing where your food comes from.
Fabian, the young gardener, is the heart of it all. With a smile as bright as the mountain sun, he nurtures the soil, tends to the plants, and celebrates each new sprout. His enthusiasm is contagious – a reminder of the joy found in small, simple things.
The Bergleracker isn’t a large agricultural project, but a symbol: that even small steps matter. That collaboration, care, and local cycles can flourish naturally. And that in Tiers, among the mountains, you can still grow together – with every carrot, every smile, and every idea that takes root.
