The delicately fruity combination of pear, cinnamon, Lillet and Drambuie warms both heart and soul and transforms each and every winter moment – following a day’s skiing, as an aperitif or after ice skating – into a delicious highlight. This drink not only warms you, it will also bring a smile to your face!
Winter warmer recipe:Ingredients for two servings
• 160 ml gently warmed pear juice
• 80 ml Lillet Blanc
• 40 ml Drambuie
• 1 pinch of cinnamon
• 2 cinnamon sticks
• 2 thin slices of pear (for decoration)
Preparation: - Heat the pear juice (do not boil)
- Pour Lillet Blanc and Drambuie into a heatproof glass
- Pour the warm pear juice over the mixture and stir briefly
- Add a cinnamon stick to the glass
- Garnish with a slice of pear and cinnamon and immediately stir
- For an even more intense winter flavour, briefly infuse the pear juice with a cinnamon stick or a clove beforehand
